Tiffany Jenks death seemed at first an ordinary murder case and the Oregon police handled it as such. However, the case turned sinister and shrouded with mystery.

On Oct 8, 2013 at 7:00am, Tiffany Jenks, a 35-year old woman, was found dead outside the entrance of Blue Lake Park in Fairview, Oregon. She died of a gunshot wound on the forehead a few hours earlier.

Tiffany, the oldest of six children, was described by her mother as a academically, mentally, and physically gifted woman with a Bachelor's Science Degree in physics and geology. She had worked as a hydrologist with the Bonneville Power Administration until 2012.

Her father’s death in 2010 had a devastating impact on Tiffany that caused her to struggle with drugs and alcohol. It was during this stage in her life that led her to meet Michelle Worden-Brosey and Joshua Robinette.

Michelle and Joshua had met 20 years earlier and on October 2013, they decided to get married.

On October 8, 2013 they went to to Falco’s Pub and Mystic Strip Club, located in Southeast Portland around 12 a.m. With them was Daniel Bruynell whom they met in Oakland.

As per the surveillance camera, it showed Tifanny Jenks leaving the club just after midnight of October 8th to go outside to smoke.

While she was outside, Michelle, Joshua, and Daniel introduced themselves to Tiffany. They started talking.

Afterwards, they drank together at several clubs in the immediate area and then left for the secluded area around Blue Lake Park, reportedly to do some target shooting with a .357 caliber revolver.

The suspects said that when they stopped the car, Jenks became agitated and started yelling at them.

During the interrogation by the detectives, Daniel Bruynell said that Michelle Worden-Brosey and Joshua Robinett told him to silence Tiffany. Michelle then handed him a gun and told him to shoot Tifanny Jenks.

He said after he did so, he was congratulated by Michelle and Joshua.

Incidentally, it was discovered that Michelle Worden-Brosey worked as a mortuary assistant and “glorified death. She was interested in death” in a “sort of unnatural fashion.”

Daniel Bruynell was arrested in Oakland, CA. He was charged with murder in the death of Tiffany Jenks. His trial was scheduled for January but later moved to July 2015, court records show.

Michelle Worden-Brosey and Joshua Robinett were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and hindering prosecution.

Michelle Worden-Brosey, who pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution in the murder of Tiffany Jenks in 2013 was sentenced on Aug. 22, 2014

However, this murder case began to have a sinister twist into it. According to her boyfriend, John Captain, Tiffany Jenks was said to be involved in a cult. He said she became a Monarch slave when she worked for the Bonneville Power Administration. She was said to have been mentally preprogrammed by the cult. He also had recordings that his girlfriend was a robot. All the police investigations were all fake.

John Captain said that he received a text message earler from Tiffany asking for help saying “they want to kill me”and they did. The “they” did not refer Daniel Bruynell, Michelle Worden- Brosey, and Joshua Robinett, the suspects apprehended by the Oregon police..

He denied that all the investigations by the Oregon police were fake. He even claimed that the police were into the plot themselves.

Almost 3 years have passed but there is no closure in the murder of Tiffany despite the conviction of the 3 suspects.

Many questions are still left unanswered that leave those who follow this case baffled and confused, questions such as:

  • Who rubbed off the serial numbers on the gun used to shoot her?
  • Who is “Josher” or “Josh” whose name was found in Tifanny’s phone when it was re-built?
  • Who and why was Tifanny’s i-cloud account deleted 2 days before her murder?
  • Why did the police did not bother to trace the call from Tiffany to her boyfriend John Captain saying “John, They want to kill me.” hours before her murder. This seemed a very good lead to the solution of the case.
  • How about the cryptic message of Tiffany to her therapist 2 years earlier about her death wish and predicted her getting “shot in the head”?

These questions and many more have made Tiffany Jenks’ death mysterious and leave the question “Who really killed Tiffany Jenks” remain a puzzle.
